The intelligence layer for global fashion.
We turn scattered product and supply-chain data into infrastructure brands and suppliers can decide on: an AI-first platform, and named experts led by a published chief scientist.

Sustainability data at AI speed. Peace of mind by human design.
The AI is the speed. The people are the confidence. That is still only a claim, so here is where to test it.

Ten years of industry firsts
None of these audiences is an afterthought.
A brand needs a figure, a supplier is tired of answering the same questionnaire eleven times, and a programme runs across a whole community of factories. Each gets its own console.
- Brand ConsoleSee the journey, measure the footprint, tell the story. The audience the homepage is written for.
- Supplier ConsoleAnswer every buyer once, and control what each partner is allowed to see.
- Partner ConsoleRun programmes across a whole supplier community, and report to the funder behind them.
A decade of data precision, and a habit of going first.
Most of it had no precedent, so there was nothing to copy and the method had to hold up from the start.

In other people’s words.
Posts, comments and mentions from brands, suppliers and partners, unedited and uncropped.
Not one of these is ours. Every tile is somebody else’s post or article, and each links out to its source so you can read it where it was published. Nothing here was written by Green Story: a post praising us that we wrote ourselves would be a fabricated testimonial, which is the one thing this site will not ship.

Data assurance is not a remote job. Being in the same time zone as a mill is what makes a supplier answer the phone, and being in the room is what turns a self-reported number into a verified one.

Our methodology isn’t borrowed. It’s published.
A team of PhD-level specialists in life-cycle assessment, policy and chemical assessment, led by a chief sustainability officer whose work you can look up without asking us for it. Behind them, an advisory group whose members have run these problems from the other side: in fibre, in manufacturing, in circularity and in development finance.
We are not a certification body, and a Green Story figure is not a certificate. We do not audit your accounts, we do not sell absolution, and we will not tell you a product is sustainable. We will tell you what it costs, how we know, and where the number is weakest.
The questions people ask first.
What is Green Story?
Green Story is a sustainability data company for the global fashion industry. It turns scattered product and supply-chain data into life-cycle assessments, digital product passports, ecoscores and compliance-ready reporting, combining an AI-first platform with named experts led by a published chief scientist.
The company was founded in 2015 and works with more than 200 companies across 35+ countries, from billion-dollar household names to companies on the cutting edge of sustainable innovation.
Is Green Story software or a consultancy?
Both, and deliberately. Green Story runs an AI platform that collects, traces and computes the data, and a team of PhD-level specialists who visit facilities, review the models and sign the results. The platform is what makes it fast; the people are what make it defensible.
A named analyst is embedded in your team, and the specialists reading your bill of materials have read a few thousand others. Neither half is sold without the other.
When was Green Story founded, and where is it based?
Green Story was founded in 2015 and is headquartered in Utrecht, in the Netherlands. It has three further offices: Toronto for North America, Nagpur for data and engineering, and Hong Kong, where the published life-cycle method is developed.
